JLL will relocate to The Grove, create future of office workspace | Ezine Daddy

JLL, the leading brokerage firm in Phoenix, has announced it will expand its Arizona headquarters and move to The Grove, a $400 million mixed-use destination being developed by RED Development on the northwest corner of 44th Street and Camelback Road, in the heart of Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor.

Under the terms of the lease, JLL will occupy 31,000 square feet on the first floor of The Grove’s Grade AA office building at 4300 E. Camelback Road. The 180,000-square-foot, five-story building, due for delivery in the third quarter of 2022, will stand alongside other project facilities including a boutique hotel, fine dining and retail and luxury residences also under construction on the site.

Following the advice of his own research, e.g. B. Shaping the Future of Work and Shaping Human Experience, JLL will expand its new Arizona office with amenities and technology, recognizing the power of the office to create a sense of community, support and fuel employee productivity the gaps in collaboration, leadership and management caused by COVID-19 workplace disruptions.

“JLL’s new Arizona office will provide our team and clients with the environment they need to thrive in one of the most desirable commercial real estate markets in the country,” said Pat Williams, senior managing director of JLL. “We are very excited about his debut.”

“Welcoming JLL to The Grove is of particular importance to us as our brokerage partnership is a key reason this office building will be 100% occupied prior to opening,” said Mike Ebert, Managing Partner at RED Development. “We are proud that JLL has chosen to join the remarkable lineup of world-class tenants they have helped us create by relocating their Phoenix office to this prime location.”

The new space will bring together more than 120 JLL professionals with expertise in office, industrial, retail, multifamily, healthcare, data center, capital markets, property management and project development services (PDS). It is the next stage in the 22+ year history of the Valley company, which was founded locally in 2000 as The Staubach Company and was purchased by JLL in 2008, establishing a JLL Phoenix office and harnessing the extensive resources of the JLL network, one of the nationwide, established leading real estate services companies.

The Grove is a creative, sophisticated, mixed-use campus featuring more than 180,000 square feet of AA-grade office space, a Sam Fox restaurant boutique hotel, luxury residences and unique fine-dining restaurants and retail outlets.

According to a JLL survey, 74% of employees agree that the ability to go to the office is fundamental, and 70% of office workers see the office as a key factor in connecting with colleagues, solving problems, leading Teams and coordination with leadership. JLL research also finds that one in two employees consider socialization spaces critical to their office experience.

Each of these data points is translated into a physical result in the new JLL office, designed by RSP Architects and managed by JLL’s Project and Development Services. This begins with a collaborative “entry experience” in the lobby and continues across large and small conference “hangouts” and independent workspaces. All workspaces are fully powered and plug-in ready, giving employees balance, options, choice and control over how they want to work on any given day.

At the edge of the office plan is an open “workcafe” lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. This creates an indoor/outdoor connection to a spacious terrace with dining and dining areas, shared seating and games. The Grove office building also features a dedicated rooftop lounge with a pickleball court, an outdoor garden and gazebo, a fully equipped kitchen, and uninterrupted views of Camelback Mountain.

“The Grove’s iconic mixed-use is exactly what companies across all industries are looking for in today’s competitive job market, and JLL is no different. The offerings on site and in the vicinity of this project are second to none and meet all the needs of JLL and others,” said JLL Managing Director Ryan Timpani, who is leading the leasing effort at The Grove.

Upon completion, The Grove will total more than 15 acres and 750,000 square feet and will include three AA grade office buildings, an internationally inspired boutique hotel – The Global Ambassador – by restaurant owner Sam Fox, fine dining and retail, and 58 luxury residences by StreetLights Residential.

JLL is expected to move into its new premises at The Grove in Fall 2022.
